From the South 
Take Interstate 15 north to Escondido and take the Valley Parkway exit.
Head east on Valley Parkway (which is also called S-6).
Stay with S-6 through Escondido, Valley Center, and Rincon.
Just past Rincon S-6 will intersect Highway 76.
Turn right on Highway 76 (S-6 and Hwy. 76 will join together at this point).
Follow Highway 76 up to the base of Palomar Mountain where S-6 will continue up to the top of Palomar.
When this happens, stay with Highway 76 (do not go to the top of Palomar Mountain).
Follow Highway 76 past the La Jolla Indian Reservation and you will find Fox Outdoor School on Highway 76 a few miles past the Reservation on your left.
If you get to Lake Henshaw, you have past the campus by 4 miles.

From the North
Take Interstate 5 south towards San Diego and exit at Highway 76 (at Oceanside).
Follow Highway 76 up to the base of Palomar Mountain where S-6 will continue up to the top of Palomar.
